The research method applied is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation collection. The main focus of this study includes the initial state of students' environmental awareness, the planning and implementation of the Kurasaki program, the role of teachers in supporting the program, and the identification of problems and solutions in its implementation. The findings of the study indicate that prior to the implementation of the Kurasaki program, students' environmental awareness was at a low level, which can be seen from the habit of littering. The principal took the initiative by drafting Kurasaki's habituation policy as stated in the school's decree. Teachers play an important role as directors, encouragers, and examples in teaching students to be able to distinguish and dispose of waste in its proper place. The habituation strategy is carried out with an educational approach, direct experience, and incorporation in daily learning activities. The main obstacles in the implementation of this program are the lack of facilities and the instability of student behavior, but this can be overcome through increased commitment of the entire school community and the provision of supporting facilities. In general, the implementation of policies and collaboration between principals and teachers make an important contribution to increasing students' awareness and love for the environment.
