This has led to students feeling bored and struggling to understand the mathematics material taught in class. As a result, mathematics learning outcomes, both in terms of interest and cognitive aspects, are low. One of the factors contributing to the low learning outcomes of students is the use of an inappropriate learning model, as well as the underutilization of technology. Discovery learning is one of the learning models that can be used. With this model, students are guided to construct their own knowledge by solving problems and gaining meaningful knowledge. Additionally, the use of AI technology, particularly ChatGPT, in the learning process will assist students in the syntax of data collection for this learning model. ChatGPT provides input and guidance to students using predetermined keywords. The purpose of this study is to determine the positive impact of AI-assisted discovery learning on student learning outcomes. The learning outcomes referred to are academic achievement and affective learning. The population in this study is all eighth-grade students in Cilegon City. The sample selected consists of 90 eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 2 Kota Cilegon. The sample was selected using random sampling techniques. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest controlled group design. Data were obtained from the results of initial and final ability tests and affective questionnaire data.
