TY - THES PB - Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Y1 - 2025/07/08/ ID - eprintuntirta50929 N2 - This study aims to identify the scores, categories, and causal factors of mental workload, academic stress, and learning motivation, as well as analyze their influence on the academic achievement of PMM inbound students at Untirta. These students face adaptation challenges, including differences in learning systems, high academic demands, and adjustments to new social and cultural environments, which may affect their academic performance. A quantitative approach was used, employing a survey method with questionnaires that covered three independent variables: mental workload (DRAWS), academic stress (SLSI), and learning motivation (MSLQ), and one dependent variable: academic achievement (GPA). Data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The results showed that most students experienced a high level of mental workload, while academic stress and learning motivation were generally at moderate levels. SEM-PLS analysis revealed that all three independent variables had a positive and significant effect on academic achievement. Based on the Five Whys analysis, several improvement strategies were proposed to address key issues, including stress management strategies, motivation enhancement, and academic interventions. These efforts are expected to support the academic success of PMM students during their cross-campus learning experience. Mahasiswa program ini menghadapi tantangan adaptasi, seperti perbedaan sistem pembelajaran, tuntutan akademik yang tinggi, serta penyesuaian sosial dan budaya yang dapat mempengaruhi performa akademik mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan instrumen kuesioner yang mencakup tiga variabel independen: beban kerja mental (DRAWS), stres belajar (SLSI), dan motivasi belajar (MSLQ), serta satu variabel dependen yaitu prestasi akademik (IP). Data dianalisis menggunakan metode SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa mengalami beban kerja mental dalam kategori tinggi, sementara stres belajar dan motivasi berada pada tingkat sedang. Analisis SEM-PLS mengungkapkan bahwa ketiga variabel bebas tersebut berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik. Berdasarkan analisis Five Whys, disusun usulan perbaikan terhadap masalah utama yang ditemukan, berupa strategi pengelolaan stres, peningkatan motivasi belajar, serta intervensi akademik. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat mendukung keberhasilan mahasiswa PMM dalam menjalani proses perkuliahan lintas kampus secara optimal. ER -
