description: Global warming is a serious problem, this is because the impact of the concentration of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions released into the air is increasing, resulting in a bad impact on the environment. Chemistry learning with the main topic of global warming is an effort to increase environmental awareness of students and relevance to global challenges. However, because learning is still conventional, it causes low critical thinking skills of students on the issue of global warming. Therefore, an effective learning strategy is needed, one of which is through the Learning Cycle 7E model for students' critical thinking skills in learning Global Warming. With a pre-experimental design and a pretest-posttest one group design approach, the study involved 38 grade X students of SMAN 6 Kota Serang who were selected through purposive sampling. The purposive sampling technique was chosen because it allows researchers to select samples based on certain characteristics that are in accordance with the research objectives, such as students' initial level of understanding of basic science concepts and the ability to follow complex learning. The research instruments included teaching modules, student worksheets, and critical thinking ability tests. Data analysis using descriptive and inferential statistics showed significant differences with a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 and an increase in the average score of 26%. Observations show the success of the model implementation with an average of 89% with a very good category.
