%O Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi spesies hama yang menyerang dua varietas cabai mata burung (Kaliber dan Sonar) di Desa Kadubeureum, serta untuk mengetahui varietas mana yang lebih rentan terhadap serangan hama. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober hingga November 2024 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif eksplorasi. Sampel diambil secara acak dari dua varietas cabai rawit yang ditanam di lahan petani. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan dua jenis perangkap, yaitu perangkap kuning dan jaring sapu. Hasil inventarisasi menunjukkan bahwa varietas Caber memiliki lebih banyak jenis hama, yaitu lalat buah (Drosophila melanogaster), wereng (Empoasca fabae dan Balclutha neglecta), dan kumbang kutu daun (Altica lythri). Sementara itu, pada varietas Sonar, hanya ditemukan satu jenis hama yaitu belalang daun (Neoconocephalus triops), lalat slither daun (Liriomyza sativae). Varietas Kaliber memiliki kerentanan yang lebih tinggi daripada varietas Sonar.

%X This study aims to inventory the pest species that attack two varieties of bird’s eye chilli (Caliber and Sonar) in Kadubeureum Village, as well as to find out which varieties are more susceptible to pest attacks. The research was carried out from October to November 2024 using an exploratory descriptive method. Samples were taken randomly from two varieties of cayenne pepper grown on farmers' land. Sampling was carried out with two types of trap, namely yellow traps and sweep nets. The results of the inventory showed that the Caber variety had more types of pests, namely fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster), leafhoppers (Empoasca fabae and Balclutha neglecta), and aphid beetles (Altica lythri). Meanwhile, in the Sonar variety, only one type of pest was found, namely the leaf grasshopper (Neoconocephalus triops), leaf slither fly (Liriomyza sativae). The Caliber variety has a higher susceptibility than the Sonar variety.
