The method used is quasi-experimental with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects were tenth grade students at SMAIT Raudhatul Jannah Cilegon, divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The research instrument was an essay test consisting of 7 items designed to measure students mathematical conceptual understanding. The results showed a significant difference in posttest scores between students taught using Realistic Mathematics Education with the Project Based Learning model and those taught using the expository method. Statistical analysis using the Independent Sample t-Test indicated a significance value of less than 0.05, which means that there is a significant positive effect.
