This study aims to: (1) examine students’ early reading profiles, (2) design an early reading instruction model using the Steinberg Method supported by Canva media, (3) analyze students’ responses to the use of Canva media, and (4) assess teachers’ responses to the early reading model implemented through the Steinberg Method with Canva media assistance. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the Dick, Carey, and Carey model. The findings indicate that: (1) the development of the early reading model using the Steinberg Method and Canva media follows ten systematic stages: needs assessment, learner and context analysis, goal specification, instrument development, instructional strategy development, material selection, formative evaluation, program revision, and summative evaluation. (2) The majority of students responded positively to the Canva-based early reading media.
