%X The main focus of implementing the Merdeka curriculum is to improve the quality of learning, especially students' numeracy skills. The development of numeracy skills is influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors can be described as psychological such as self-efficacy and learning independence. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and learning independence with students' numeracy skills in junior high schools in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This research applies a quantitative descriptive method with a correlational study. The research was conducted with a sample of 166 8th grade students at SMPN 19 Tangerang City using simple random sampling technique. The technique in collecting data uses questionnaire and test instruments. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and junior high school students' numeracy skills in implementing the Merdeka curriculum with a Pearson Correlation value of 0,720 which is in the strong category. There is a positive relationship between learning independence and junior high school students' numeracy skills in implementing the Merdeka curriculum with a Pearson Correlation value of 0,697 which is in the strong category. There is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and learning independence with junior high school students' numeracy skills in implementing the Merdeka curriculum with a coefficient interval of 0,60 < X ≤ 0,799 with a strong category. %I UNIVERSITAS SULTAN AGENG TIRTAYASA %A TIARA LUTFIATUZAHRA %O Fokus utama implementasi kurikulum Merdeka yaitu dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khususnya kemampuan numerasi siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan sampel berjumlah 166 siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 19 Kota Tangerang dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik dalam mengumpulkan data menggunakan instrumen angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara self-efficacy dengan kemampuan numerasi siswa SMP dalam implementasi kurikulum Merdeka dengan nilai Pearson Correlation 0,720 yang termasuk kategori kuat. Terdapat hubungan positif antara kemandirian belajar dengan kemampuan numerasi siswa SMP dalam implementasi kurikulum Merdeka dengan nilai Pearson Correlation 0,697 yang termasuk kategori kuat.
