The development of numeracy skills is influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors can be described as psychological such as self-efficacy and learning independence. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and learning independence with students' numeracy skills in junior high schools in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This research applies a quantitative descriptive method with a correlational study. The research was conducted with a sample of 166 8th grade students at SMPN 19 Tangerang City using simple random sampling technique. The technique in collecting data uses questionnaire and test instruments. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and junior high school students' numeracy skills in implementing the Merdeka curriculum with a Pearson Correlation value of 0,720 which is in the strong category. There is a positive relationship between learning independence and junior high school students' numeracy skills in implementing the Merdeka curriculum with a Pearson Correlation value of 0,697 which is in the strong category.
