Mathematics learning at the junior high school level often faces the challenge of low learning outcomes, learning motivation, and student confidence. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to apply learning methods that are in accordance with the characteristics of student. The focus of this research is to determine the effect of video modeling example, worked-example, and practice problem learning methods on self-efficacy, motivation, and learning outcomes of students? cognitive aspects. The theoretical foundations used in this research include cognitive load theory, social cognitive theory, and multimedia learning theory, which explain the important role of visualization, structured examples, and independent practice in the learning process. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and involved three experimental classes of grade VIII students from a school in Serang City. Each class receives different learning method treatments. Data collection techniques used learning outcomes tests, self-efficacy, and motivation questionnaires, which were analysed using t-test and ANOVA, and continued with post hoc test. The results showed that the three methods had a significant effect on self-efficacy, motivation, and learning outcomes in cognitive aspects. The practice problem method is more effective in increasing self-efficacy, video modeling example is more effective in increasing learning motivation, while worked-example is more effective in improving learning outcomes in cognitive aspects. Therefore, the selection of learning methods should be adjusted to the objectives to be achieved in the learning process. Pembelajaran matematika di tingkat SMP sering kali menghadapi tantangan rendahnya hasil belajar, motivasi belajar, dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Untuk mangatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan penerapan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran video modeling example, worked-example, dan practice problem terhadap self-efficacy, motivasi, dan hasil belajar aspek kognitif siswa. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi cognitive load theory, social cognitive theory, dan multimedia learning theory, yang menjelaskan pentingnya peran visualisasi, contoh terstruktur, dan latihan mandiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu dan melibatkan tiga kelas eksperimen siswa kelas VIII dari sekolah yang berada di Kota Serang. Masing-masing kelas mendapatkan perlakuan metode pembelajaran yang berbeda. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar, angket self-efficacy, dan angket motivasi, yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan ANOVA, serta dilanjutkan dengan uji post hoc. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga metode berpengaruh signifikan terhadap self-efficacy, motivasi, dan hasil belajar aspek kognitif. Metode practice problem lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan self-efficacy, video modeling example lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, sedangkan worked-example lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar aspek kognitif. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan metode pembelajaran sebaiknya disesuaikan dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam proses pembelajaran.
