description: This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and organizational support  on teacher performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable. The  research was conducted among teachers at public vocational high schools (SMK  Negeri) in the Pandeglang region. The study was driven by issues including  fluctuating teacher performance and mismatches between teachers’ educational  backgrounds and their assigned teaching subjects. A quantitative approach was  employed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM)  for data analysis. Data were collected from 100 teacher respondents through  questionnaires and documentation. The results indicate that both competence and  organizational support have a positive and significant effect on ..work motivation  and teacher performance. Furthermore, work motivation has a significant influence  on performance and successfully mediates the relationship between competence  and performance, as well as between organizational support and performance. This  study contributes to the development of human resource management in the  education sector, particularly in designing strategies to enhance teacher  performance through strengthened competencies and continuous institutional  support.
