So it takes the right learning model to improve these abilities. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is believed to be able to improve mathematical literacy skills in students. This research was conducted at MTs Madrasah Islam Indonesia Cidangiang Pandeglang in the academic year 2024/2025 which aims to determine the effect of applying the problem-based learning model on students' mathematical literacy skills. The method used in this research is quasi-experiment with the research design The Non-equivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Designs. This study involved two classes, namely class VII A as the experimental class and class VII C as the control class. The test instrument used was the mathematical literacy test.
