            note = {Penelitian ini dilaksanakan atas dasar rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Salah satu faktor yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya literasi matematis siswa adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran yang belum mampu mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan konteks kehidupan nyata. Hal tersebut menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam memahami makna dari konsep matematika yang dipelajari. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat membantu meningkatkan literasi matematis siswa yaitu model Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Dengan penerapan model pembelajaran RME, siswa dilatih untuk mengaitkan permasalahan kontekstual dengan konsep matematika serta mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Quasi eksperimen dengan desain the non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 68 siswa kelas VIII yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari tes kemampuan awal siswa dan tes kemampuan akhir siswa. Hasil dari penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa model pembelajaran RME berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis siswa.},

        abstract = {This study was conducted on the basis of the low mathematical literacy skills of students in learning mathematics. One of the factors that cause students' low mathematical literacy is the use of learning models that have not been able to link mathematical concepts with real-life contexts. This causes students to have difficulty in understanding the meaning of the mathematical concepts learned. One of the learning models that can help improve students' mathematical literacy is the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model. With the application of the RME learning model, students are trained to link contextual problems with mathematical concepts and develop critical thinking skills in solving problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model on students' mathematical literacy skills. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas. The method used was Quasi experiment with the non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study amounted to 68 students of class VIII who were selected by purposive sampling. The data collection method in this study was obtained from the student's initial ability test and the student's final ability test. The results of the study revealed that the RME learning model had a positive effect on students' mathematical literacy skills.},
