description: This study aims to analyze the influence of farmers' perceptions on their interest in participating in the Rice Farming Insurance Program (AUTP) in Teritih Village, Walantaka Sub-district, Serang City. The background of this research is the low participation of farmers in the AUTP program, despite its objective of protecting them from crop failure risks. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method with a census technique involving 54 respondents. Data analysis includes descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results show that farmers' perceptions are relatively high in terms of the benefits and premium costs of the program, although there are still obstacles related to administrative procedures and technical services. Farmers' interest is categorized as moderate; while their attention and curiosity toward the program are high, active involvement remains low. Regression analysis reveals that, simultaneously, the variables of perceived benefits, ease and cost, and effectiveness significantly influence farmers' interest (sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Partially, only perceived benefits (sig. 0.036) and perceived ease and cost (sig. 0.008) have a significant effect, while perceived effectiveness does not (sig. 0.476). The Adjusted R Square value of 0.298 indicates that perception variables contribute 29.8% to farmers' interest in participating in AUTP.
