Numerous data and facts on the ground prove that money   politics continues to color the regional elections in DKI Jakarta. One of the causes   of money politics in society is closely related to the quality of the community's   political knowledge. Improving the quality of political knowledge among the   community can be achieved through providing political education, which is the   responsibility of political parties according to the Political Parties Law. This paper   contains complete and accountable facts, information, and data related to the   obligations and the extent of political parties' roles in providing political education   to the community. It also analyzes the law enforcement against political parties that   do not provide political education to the community, with the aim of preventing   money politics in DKI Jakarta, using the Legal Responsibility theory and Law   Enforcement theory. The method used is juridical-empirical, utilizing legislation   and research on field data and facts. The data sources used in this study are primary   and secondary data analyzed qualitatively. The results of this thesis show that some   political parties have conducted political education but have not prioritized it as a   main agenda. Moreover, the process of providing political education to the   community still uses methods that are less appropriate for the target groups. Law   enforcement related to this matter is also not clearly explained by the law, so there   is a need for more detailed and clear regulations to carry out the political education   process for the community in a more structured manner.
