N1  - Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan siswa dalam menyajikan informasi secara objektif. Siswa kerap kali mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya penguasaan tata bahasa dan kosakata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (a) mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan afiksasi pada teks laporan hasil observasi siswa SMP Negeri 4 Setu, Kabupaten Bekasi dan (b) menjelaskan penyebab terjadinya kesalahan afiksasi pada teks laporan hasil observasi siswa SMP Negeri 4 Setu, Kabupaten Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode simak dengan teknik dasar sadap dan teknik lanjutan teknik Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC). Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode cakap dengan teknik dasar pancing dan teknik lanjutan cakap semuka, teknik rekam, serta teknik catat. Selanjutnya sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah adalah teks laporan hasil observasi karya siswa kelas VIII-SMP Negeri 4 Setu, Kabupaten Bekasi tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode padan intralingual dengan teknik lanjutan hubung banding menyamakan (HBS) dan padan ekstralingual. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data didapatkan data sebanyak 75 data. Data tersebut dapat diperinci, sebagai berikut. (1) penghilangan prefiks sebanyak 7 data; (2) bunyi yang seharusnya luluh tidak diluluhkan sebanyak 7 data; (3) peluluhan bunyi yang seharusnya tidak luluh sebanyak 8 data; (4) penggantian morf sebanyak 15 data; (5) penyingkatan morf meN- sebanyak 5 data; (6) penggunaan afiks yang tidak tepat sebanyak 16 data; (7) penentuan bentuk dasar yang tidak tepat sebanyak 14 data; dan (8) penempatan afiks yang tidak tepat pada gabungan kata sebanyak 3 data. Adapun penyebab kesalahan afiksasi yang dilakukan oleh siswa SMP Negeri 4 Setu, Kabupaten Bekasi saat menulis teks laporan hasil observasi, yaitu: (1) seseorang yang terpengaruh oleh bahasa yang terlebih dahulu dikuasainya, (2) pemakai bahasa yang kurang memahami bahasa yang digunakannya, dan (3) kurang tepat dan kurang sempurnanya pengajaran bahasa yang diterima oleh seseorang.

N2  - This research is motivated by the problems students face when presenting information objectively. Students often have difficulty writing the report's text on the results of observations, which is caused by a lack of mastery of grammar and vocabulary. This study aims to (a) describe the form of affixation errors in the text of the report on the observation of students of SMP Negeri 4 Setu, Bekasi regency, and (b) explain the causes of affixation errors in the text of the report on the observation of students of SMP Negeri 4 Setu, Bekasi regency. The research method used is the listening method with basic tapping techniques and advanced techniques through Free Listening with Involvement in Conversation (SBLC) techniques. In addition, this study also used the conversation method with basic fishing techniques and advanced face-to-face method techniques, recording techniques, and Note-taking techniques. Furthermore, the data source in this study is the text of the report on the observation of the work of student Class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Setu, Bekasi Regency, for the 2023/2024 academic year. The data analysis technique used is an intralingual matching method with advanced comparative matching (HBS) and extralingual matching techniques. Based on the data collection results, as many as 75 data were obtained. Data can be detailed as follows. (1) omission of prefixes by 7 data; (2) sounds that should melt not be melted by 7 data; (3) dissolution of sounds that should not melt by 8 data; (4) replacement of morph by 15 data; (5) abbreviation of morph meN-by 5 data; (6) improper use of affixes by 16 data; (7) determination of the basic form is not proper as much as 14 data; and (8) placement of affixes that are not right in the combination of words as much as 3 data. The causes of affixation errors made by students of SMP Negeri 4 Setu, Bekasi regency when writing the text of the observation report, namely: (1) someone who is affected by the language they first mastered, (2) language users who do not understand the language they uses, and (3) less precise and less perfect Language Teaching received by someone.
