description: The teacher's strategy in improving the memorization of short surahs among  children aged 5–6 years is an important effort in establishing a religious foundation  from an early age. This study aims to identify the strategies implemented by  teachers to enhance short surah memorization in children aged 5–6 years at TK  Islam Tirtayasa-Serang. This research uses a qualitative method with research  subjects consisting of several Group B students at TK Islam Tirtayasa SerangBanten. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews,  documentation, and field notes. The results of the study show that: 1) The planning  for short surah memorization in children aged 5–6 years at TK Islam Tirtayasa  Serang is well-prepared through the use of daily learning plans (RPPH), 2) The  implementation of memorization activities is quite effective, 3) There are two types  of evaluations specific and general with specific evaluations conducted weekly and  general evaluations twice a year, 4) Supporting factors for the memorization  process include teachers and parents, 5) Inhibiting factors include lack of support  from parents and the children’s own limitations, and 6) Solutions to these inhibiting  factors include increasing children's interest in memorization, providing  motivation, and enhancing collaboration and communication between teachers and  parents.
