This dominating anxiety can hinder students' concentration, discourage them from studying mathematics, and lead them to avoid mathematical environments altogether. A crucial approach to reducing mathematics anxiety involves identifying students' learning styles, employing appropriate and effective teaching strategies, and accommodating students' learning preferences comprehensively. This study aims to describe mathematics anxiety among students with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing questionnaires and interviews for data collection. The subjects of this study were 30 seventh-grade students from classes VII-D and VII-E at SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang. The findings revealed that the students exhibited heterogeneous learning styles, with visual learning styles being the most dominant at 70.36%. Students with visual learning styles tend to experience anxiety in cognitive and affective aspects, which can escalate when the material is not delivered in alignment with their learning preferences. Students with auditory learning styles are heavily influenced by cognitive and psychomotor anxiety, which can hinder understanding of the material.
