Rendahnya motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu masalah yang dapat mengganggu proses belajar siswa dan membutuhkan penanganan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling kelompok dengan teknik assertive training untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pabuaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, metode pra-eksperimen dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan sampel penelitian mengunakan Teknik Purposive Sampling yang di peroleh 8 sampel dengan kategori motivasi belajar terendah. kemudian diberikan treatment. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam pengujian hipotesis yaitu Wilcoxon signed ranks test. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan secara signifikan dari nilai rata-rata sebesar 33 menjadi 60.375. Analisis uji Wilcoxon signed ranks test pada proses pengambilan keputusan hipotesis, nilai 0.012 {\ensuremath{<}} 0.05, Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis dinyatakan diterima. Dengan demikian Ha diterima dan H? ditolak.
