description: This study aims to examine how the implementation of the Project-Based Learning method within the Pancasila Student Profile framework can develop the emotional abilities of children aged 5–6 years at PAUD Al-Kautsar. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of project-based learning—through stages such as trigger questions, planning, execution, and evaluation—has positively impacted children’s emotional development. Children demonstrated improvement in selfawareness, a sense of responsibility, and empathy. Projects such as “zoo,” “house,” and “office” encouraged children to collaborate, communicate, and complete tasks together. These findings are supported by Daniel Goleman’s theory of emotional intelligence and by experts in early childhood education who emphasize the importance of contextual and experiential learning. Thus, the project method is proven to be an effective learning strategy to holistically support children's emotional development.
