However, its implementation is not easy. This is where the role of the transformational teacher becomes crucial, as they have received special training that equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to address diverse student learning needs. This study aims to describe the profile of the transformational teacher, to analyze their role in planning and implementing differentiated learning, and to examine the implications of this role in the implementation of differentiated learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants in this study were transformational teacher and students from grades III, V, and VI. The findings show that transformational teacher at SDN Cilegon II are actively involved in professional development activities and make significant contributions to creating positive changes in the school environment. In the planning stage, teachers play a role in mapping students’ learning needs and designing teaching modules using a differentiated approach. During implementation, they serve as guides, facilitators, innovators, motivators, and directors.
