This study aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education policies for students with special needs at the junior high school (SMP) level in Lebak Regency. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of the Head of the Junior High School Education Division, the Head of the Quality Improvement Section, School Principals, and Special Assistant Teachers (GPK). The results of the study indicate that the implementation of inclusive education policies in Lebak Regency still faces several challenges, such as a lack of competent educators, insufficient training and mentoring, inadequate facilities, and limited public understanding of the concept of inclusion. Nevertheless, there are also supporting factors such as the commitment of the local government and the spirit of inclusivity present in several schools.
