description: This study aims to analyze the effect of role-playing activities on the self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years at Al-Ikhlas Kindergarten, Mandalawangi District. This research method uses a quantitative method with a Quasi Experiment approach. The sample in this study consisted of 30 children selected using Purposive Sampling. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations and experiments, while data analysis used the Paired sample T test with the help of SPSS. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the control class that did not implement role-playing activities and the experimental class that implemented role-playing activities during learning. With the values obtained from the control group, it is known that the sig. value. (2-tailed) in the control group is 0.334. And in the experimental group obtained a value of 0.000 then according to the determination of the basis for decision making if the sig. value (2-tailed) > 0.005. So it can be concluded from this study that role-playing activities have a significant influence on the self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years at Al-Ikhlas Kindergarten.
