%A ROIHATUL JANNAH %O Rendahnya kemampuan tersebut disebabkan oleh kebutuhan anak dalam beradaptasi pada perpindahan dari TK ke SD. Kemampuan matematika siswa di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah. Diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan cara berpikir matematis siswa-siswa di Indonesia. Memperkenalkan matematika tanpa menimbulkan kecemasan dan kebosanan dapat dilakukan dengan melalui balok. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh bermain balok terhadap kemampuan matematika awal anak usia 5-6 tahun. Sebuah penelitian kuantitatif mengukur faktor yang diteliti melalui eksperimen. Desain Pre-Test and Post-Test with Non-Equivalent Control-Group. Kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol memiliki 15 anak di kelas. Hasil eksperimen dalam penelitian menggunakan uji-t berpasangan, sebelum dan sesudah nilai Sig yang telah dianalisis 0,016 < 0,05 dan kontrol 0,005 < 0,05 jadi kedua kelompok memiliki pengaruh bermain balok terhadap kemampuan matematika awal anak usia lima sampai enam tahun. Selain itu, Pada sebelum kontrol 21,00 setelah kontrol 22,40 menunjukkan perubahan 1,4 sedangkan sebelum eskperimen sebesar 21,33 nilai sesudah eksperimen sebesar 22,93 menunjukkan perubahan 1,6. Perubahan nilai kelompok kontrol lebih rendah dari kelompok eksperimen karena berbeda perlakuan yaitu bermain balok dan lembar kerja dikaitkan dengan kemampuan matematika awal. The mathematical ability of students in Indonesia is still relatively low. Efforts are needed to improve the mathematical thinking of students in Indonesia. Introducing mathematics without causing anxiety and boredom can be done through blocks. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of playing with blocks on the early mathematical abilities of children aged 5-6 years. A quantitative study measured the factors studied through experiments. Pre-Test and Post-Test Design with Non-Equivalent Control-Group. The experimental group and the control group had 15 children in the class. The results of the experiment in the study using a paired t-test, before and after the Sig value that had been analyzed was 0.016 <0.05 and control 0.005 <0.05 so both groups had the effect of playing with blocks on the early mathematical abilities of children aged five to six years. In addition, Before control 21.00 after control 22.40 showed a change of 1.4 while before the experiment was 21.33 the value after the experiment was 22.93 showed a change of 1.6. The change in the control group's value was lower than the experimental group because the different treatments were playing blocks and worksheets associated with early mathematical abilities.
