description: Declining financial deepening will worsen the country's economic condition and reduce investment and competitiveness. This is due to the low percentage of capital market transactions and the declining ratio of credit to economic growth. Because economic growth is a meaningful thing in a country's economy and is one of the parameters of a country's economic achievement. The purpose of this study is to determine how the effect of financial deepening, foreign exchange reserves, interest rates, and inflation on economic growth in ASEAN-4 for the period 2012M1-2022M12 in the short term and long term. The study uses the Pooled Mean Group (PMG) method which proves that in the short term financial deepening has a negative and significant effect, while foreign exchange reserves, interest rates, and inflation have no significant effect on economic growth. In the long run financial deepening and inflation have a negative and significant effect on economic growth, while foreign exchange reserves and   interest rates in the long run have a positive and significant effect on economic growth.
