description: Water is a cultivation medium that functions as a place to live for aquatic animals   that require quality standards for cultivation suitability based on their ecological   status. Therefore, water quality must always be monitored for the stability of fish   cultivation production. One of the aquatic animals is the cantrang grouper. This   grouper is cultivated by people around the coast of Panjang Island, Serang Regency,   Banten Province. The aim of this research is to determine the quality of the waters  on the coast of Panjang Island as a location for grouper cantang Epinephelus   fuscoguttatus >< Epinephelus lanceolatus which complies with water quality   standards. Research was carried out using two methods, namely on site and from   the situation The parameters used are on site are dissolved oxygen, depth,   brightness, salinity, pH, temperature and current speed while the parameters are   carried out individually from the situation are nitrates and phosphates. Each   parameter will be researched three times with the interval between each study being   14 days. The results obtained at each station are that station 1 is in the category   according to marginal S3 with a scoring value of 68%, station 2 is in the category   according to marginal S3 with a value of 68% and station 3 is in the category not   suitable for N with a value of 62%. It has been concluded that stations 1 and station   2 can still be used for cantrang grouper cultivation activities, while station 3 is not   suitable for cantang grouper cultivation activities.
