description: Cognitive development encompasses the brain processes that occur as children   process and receive information, helping them to remember, assimilate, and   understand learning. This research aims to determine the effect of augmented   reality (AR) technology on the memory ability of children aged 5-6 years at Bina   Bangsa Islamic School. The research method used is a quantitative method with a   quasi-experimental approach and a nonequivalent control group design. Data   collection techniques include observation, documentation, and tests, with data   analysis using SPSS 22. The results of the t-test in the experimental class show a   significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant effect of AR usage on   children's memory ability, compared to results using picture card media.
