"In the face of increasingly intense business competition, employee\r\nperformance has become a key factor in determining organizational success,\r\nincluding at BPR Serang. Human resource management through talent management\r\nand knowledge management plays a significant role in enhancing employee\r\nperformance; however, these efforts are insufficient without high levels of\r\nemployee engagement. Emotionally engaged and highly motivated employees tend\r\nto be more productive and contribute more significantly to the achievement of\r\norganizational goals. Based on employee performance trend data at BPR Serang for\r\nthe period 2018–2022, performance targets have consistently not been met, with a\r\ngrowing deviation that reached 9.87% in 2022. This indicates the need for a more\r\nin-depth evaluation of the factors affecting employee performance, including\r\ntraining, incentives, and organizational restructuring. Therefore, this study aims to\r\nanalyze the influence of talent management and knowledge management on\r\nemployee performance, with employee engagement as an intervening variable, in\r\norder to formulate more effective strategies for optimizing human resources at BPR\r\nSerang and provide recommendations for other companies facing similar\r\nchallenges. This research is a quantitative study. The population consists of all\r\nemployees working at BPR Serang. The sample includes 65 employees selected\r\nfrom the Kasemen, Kragilan, and Pontang branch offices. Data were collected using\r\na validated and reliable questionnaire and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software.\r\nThe results of the study show that talent management has a positive and significant\r\neffect on employee engagement at BPR Serang, and knowledge management also\r\nhas a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. Furthermore, both\r\ntalent management and knowledge management have positive and significant\r\neffects on employee performance. Employee engagement positively and\r\nsignificantly affects employee performance. Moreover, employee engagement\r\nsignificantly moderates the relationship between talent management and employee\r\nperformance, as well as the relationship between knowledge management and\r\nemployee performance at BPR Serang."^^ .
