Tempat penelitian di SMAN 1 Baros tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XII MIPA SMA di SMAN 1 Baros. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas XII MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa kelas XII MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah soal tes visual literacy skills dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil uji-t memperoleh Signifikansi 0,001, maka terdapat pengaruh dari media pembelajaran Visual Thinking Strategy in Augmented Reality (ViTSAR) untuk meningkatkan visual literacy skills pada materi medan magnet. Hasil respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan media ViTSAR sangat baik memperoleh hasil sebesar 80% sehingga metode ini dapat meningkatkan visual literacy skills siswa khususnya pada pembelajaran fisika materi medan magnet. abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of ViTSAR in improving students' Visual Literacy Skills on magnetic field material. The research location was at SMAN 1 Baros in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used was a quantitative research method. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population of the study was all grade XII MIPA students at SMAN 1 Baros. The sample of this study was 32 grade XII MIPA 1 students as the experimental class and 32 grade XII MIPA 2 students as the control class. The instruments used in this study were Visual Literacy Skills test questions and student response questionnaires. The results of the t-test obtained a significance of 0.001, so there was an influence of the Visual Thinking Strategy in Augmented Reality (ViTSAR) learning media to improve Visual Literacy Skills on Magnetic Field material.
