Nutrition plays a role in performance, recovery, and injury prevention. This study aims to analyze the relationship between status, intake, and nutritional knowledge and the physical fitness of taekwondo athletes. The method used was a cross-sectional study with a type of descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study is all PPLPD (Regional Student Sports Education and Training Center) athletes in Lebak Regency, the sampling technique is the total sampling technique. The sample number was 20 respondents aged 13-18 years. The data collection technique used questionnaires (nutritional status, 3x24-hour nutritional intake, nutritional knowledge and bleep test) which have been tested for validity and reliability. The research was carried out from February to March 2025, data analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents had normal nutritional status, namely 17 athletes, while in the somatotype category, endomorph athletes with sufficient fitness (60%), while the appropriate group was more and more unfit (60%). The analysis test showed (p-value 0.371) that there was no significant relationship between nutritional status. However, as many as 45% of athletes with less energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrate intake showed low physical fitness. In contrast, only a small fraction had adequate fitness despite their corresponding intake, suggesting a very significant relationship between nutritional intake and athletes' physical fitness (p-value 0.000). Meanwhile, as many as 50% of athletes with poor nutritional knowledge and 50% with sufficient knowledge showed poor physical fitness with a p-value of 1,000 stated that there was no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge and physical fitness. date: 2025 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49997/4/Intan%20Abelia_8882210005_Skripsi.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49997/5/Intan%20Abelia_8882210005_01.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49997/6/Intan%20Abelia_8882210005_02.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49997/7/Intan%20Abelia_8882210005_03.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49997/8/Intan%20Abelia_8882210005_04.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49997/9/Intan%20Abelia_8882210005_05.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49997/10/Intan%20Abelia_8882210005_Reff.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49997/11/Intan%20Abelia_8882210005_Lamp.pdf identifier: ABELIA, INTAN (2025) HUBUNGAN STATUS GIZI, ASUPAN GIZI, DAN PENGETAHUAN GIZI TERHADAP KEBUGARAN JASMANI ATLET TAEKWONDO KABUPATEN LEBAK.
