High schools description: This study aims to determine the effect of the Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model on Generic Science Skills (KGS) on the concept of environmental change material. This study is a quasi-experimental study or pseudo-experiment using a non-equivalent control group design. The SSCS learning model is the independent variable and generic science skills are the dependent variable. The population in this study were all grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Wanasalam in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class X.4 as the experimental class and X.5 as the control class. The sampling technique was carried out by random sampling. Data collection techniques used KGS essay tests, KGS observation sheets, observations of learning implementation, response questionnaires and documentation. The Generic Science Skills (KGS) measured in this study include indicators of the law of cause and effect, mathematical modeling, logical inference, direct observation and indirect observation. The data analysis technique used the t-test to test the hypothesis. The results of the hypothesis test of the SSCS learning model on generic science skills obtained a t-count value for the final KGS descriptive test of 0.000 and a KGS observation sheet of 0.031.
