description: Beauty clinic is a health care facility engaged in the field of aesthetics that aims to  provide outpatient health services and provide medical services, such as  consultation, examination, treatment and medical actions related to beauty care,  both for skin, face, and body shape with non-surgical processes. However, in  practice it does not always go with what is expected, there are often acts of error  or negligence from beauty clinic business actors in carrying out their services.  Thus, the author identifies the problem, namely, how the legal protection of patients  who are victims of doctor negligence in beauty clinics is reviewed based on Law  Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health and how criminal law enforcement against  negligent acts of doctors in beauty clinics. The theories used are legal protection  theory and law enforcement theory. The research method used is normative  juridical, the research specification uses a statutory approach. The data used is  secondary data and supported by primary legal materials, secondary legal  materials, and tertiary legal materials, and analyzed descriptively qualitative. The  results of the study show that legal protection for victims of doctor negligence in  beauty clinics is still not fully fulfilled. Although Law Number 17 of 2023  concerning Health has regulated the practice of medicine, the regulation has not  clearly regulated the form of legal remedies for victims. In addition, law  enforcement officials tend to be passive and only act after reports from the public,  so that repressive efforts in taking action against cases of medical negligence are  still ineffective. Therefore, steps are needed such as revision of regulations,  increased supervision by the Health Office, and education to the public so that  patients can better understand their rights and negligent doctors can be given  appropriate sanctions.
