description: Vocabulary skills are an important aspect of language development in early childhood. However, at TK Negeri Pembina Kota Serang, the vocabulary learning process is still less engaging, which affects children's low learning motivation. This study aims to determine the effect of using Batu Susun Kata (BASKATA) media on the vocabulary skills of children aged 5–6 years. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, involving 32 children divided into a control group (16 children) and an experimental group (16 children). Data analysis techniques used the Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect on improving children's vocabulary skills after the application of BASKATA media. These findings show that the use of BASKATA media can increase children's learning interest and help them more easily recognize and remember new vocabulary. Thus, BASKATA media is effectively used as an alternative vocabulary learning method that is engaging and enjoyable for early childhood.
