Jenis dan populasi serangga memiliki pengaruh penting terhadap keberhasilan budidaya dan kestabilan agroekosistem cabai keriting. Penelitian termasuk penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan pada September 2024 hingga Oktober 2024 dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman serangga pengunjung pada tanaman cabai keriting (Capsicum annum L.) sistem mulsa dan tanpa mulsa di Desa Sidamukti Kecamatan Baros Kabupaten Serang. Penentuan lokasi pengambilan sampel berdasarkan purposive sampling dengan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan pitfall trap, yellow sticky trap, dan sweep net. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh 507 individu dari 7 ordo, 29 famili, dan 36 spesies. Indeks keanekaragaman pada tanaman cabai keriting sistem mulsa sebesar 3,139 dengan kategori tinggi dan tanpa mulsa sebesar 2,526 dengan kategori sedang. Indeks kemerataan pada tanaman cabai keriting sistem mulsa sebesar 0,890 dan tanpa mulsa sebesar 0,843 keduanya termasuk kategori tinggi. Indeks dominansi pada tanaman cabai keriting sistem mulsa sebesar 0,061 dan tanpa mulsa sebesar 0,108 keduanya termasuk kategori rendah. It aims to determine the diversity of insect visitors on curly chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.) under mulch and no-mulch systems. Sampling locations were chosen based on purposive sampling, with sampling methods that included pitfall traps, yellow sticky traps, and sweep nets. The research showed that 507 individuals from 7 orders, 29 families, and 36 species were collected. The diversity index for curly chili plants using the mulch system was 3.139 in the high category, and without mulch, it was 2.526 in the medium category. The evenness index in curly chili plants with a mulch system was 0.890; without mulch, it was 0.843, both of which are in the high category. The dominance index in curly chili plants with a mulch system was 0.061; without mulch, it was 0.108, both of which are in the low category.
