description: This study aims to explore the impact of Art Therapy on improving self-control in children with behavioral issues at SKH Istimewa LPKA Class I Tangerang. The background of this research is based on the increasing number of children with behavioral issues who struggle to manage their emotions and behaviors, as well as the lack of access to effective rehabilitation programs, which negatively affects their psychosocial development. The method used is a True Experimental Design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, involving 38 subjects selected  randomly. The experimental group received Art Therapy treatment for six sessions, each lasting 40 minutes, while the control group did not receive any treatment. Statisca analysis results indicate that the implementation of Art Therapy has a significant effect on the self-control of children with behavioral issues, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Improvements in self-control were observed  in the aspects of behavioral control, cognitive control, and decision-making, with the experimental group showing an average post-test score of 122.21, an increase of 35.05 points from the pre-test. These findings demonstrate that Art Therapy not only serves as a medium for creative expression but also as an effective intervention method for enhancing self-control in children with behavioral issues. This research  is expected to contribute to the development of more inclusive and effective rehabilitation programs for children with behavioral issues in Indonesia.
