note: Latar Belakang: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) merupakan penyakit kardiovaskular kronis yang menjadi penyebab utama penurunan kualitas hidup pasien. Gejala seperti kelelahan, sesak napas, dan keterbatasan aktivitas berdampak pada kondisi fisik, psikologis, dan sosial pasien. Self care yang efektif serta dukungan keluarga (family support) berperan penting dalam membantu pasien mengelola gejala dan mempertahankan kualitas hidup yang optimal. Hubungan keduanya dengan kualitas hidup pasien CHF di RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara belum banyak diteliti 
secara spesifik. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara self care dan family support dengan kualitas hidup pasien CHF di RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan 105 pasien CHF sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner self care (SCHFI), family support, dan kualitas hidup (MLHFQ). Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Chi-Square untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden memiliki self care baik (52,4%) dan family support tinggi (81,9%). Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara self care dengan kualitas hidup (p = 0,042), namun tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara family support dengan kualitas hidup (p = 0,981). Kesimpulan: Self care berhubungan signifikan dengan kualitas hidup pasien CHF di RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara, sedangkan family support tidak. Faktor lain kemungkinan turut memengaruhi kualitas hidup, sehingga pendekatan multidimensional diperlukan dalam perawatan pasien.
abstract: Background: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a chronic cardiovascular disease that is a leading cause of decreased quality of life in patients. Symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath, and activity limitations affect the physical, psychological, and social conditions of patients. Effective self-care and family support play a crucial role 
in helping patients manage symptoms and maintain optimal quality of life. However, the relationship between these factors and the quality of life of CHF patients at RSUD 
dr. Drajat Prawiranegara has not been extensively studied. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-care and family support with the quality of life of CHF patients at RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara. Methods: This research employed a cross-sectional design involving 105 CHF patients as participants. Data were collected using the Self-Care of Heart Failure Index (SCHFI), a family support questionnaire, and the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure 
Questionnaire (MLHFQ). Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test to examine relationships between variables. Results: The results showed that the majority of respondents had good self-care (52.4%) and high family support (81.9%). A significant relationship was found between self-care and quality of life (p = 0.042), while no significant relationship was found between family support and quality of life (p = 
0.981). Conclusion: Self-care is significantly associated with the quality of life of CHF patients at RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara, while family support is not. Other factors may also influence quality of life, thus a multidimensional approach is necessary in patient care.
