description: Selling bananas by car offers many business opportunities, but selling   bananas by car is not free from various risks that can affect business continuity and   profits. This study aims to identify what risks are faced in selling bananas in cars   based on SWOT analysis and analyze and formulate handling strategies that can be   applied by traders to manage these risks effectively. Quantitative research with a   descriptive approach is a research method that aims to describe or describe the   phenomenon under study systematically and factually using numerical data. The   type of research used in this study is census research. The results showed that   banana fruit sales in cars face a number of risks identified through SWOT analysis.   These risks include internal weaknesses such as fruit damage during sales, limited   storage space, difficulty in controlling temperature and humidity, and unguaranteed   fruit hygiene. On the external side, the main threats include competition with other   sellers, the impact of weather on fruit quality, fluctuations in fuel costs, government   regulations, the risk of accidents or car breakdowns, and the rapid ripening process   of bananas. This identification provides an in-depth understanding of the challenges   that need to be managed in business operations. The emerging risks are then   addressed using 4 methods such as Risk Reduction, Risk Transfer, Risk Retention,   and Risk Avoidance.
