High schools description: This study examines the impact of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model on the numeracy skills of junior high school students at SMP Negeri 10 Kota Serang. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the study involved seventh-grade students enrolled during the 2024/2025 academic year. Two classes were randomly selected as the sample: an experimental group taught using the RME model and a control group taught through the expository method. The research instrument consisted of a numeracy skills assessment administered both before (pretest) and after (posttest) the intervention. Data analysis was conducted using an independent samples t-test. The results indicate a statistically significant positive effect of the RME model on students’ numeracy skills.
