The increasing incidence of death caused by heart disease and to support treatment and early detection of heart disease, supporting examinations are needed. Electrocardiography (ECG) which is one of the tools or technologies in supporting examinations that can be found in health services to examine and help detect heart abnormalities. As professional nurses, the ability to interpret ECG is a professional requirement for all nurses who work in rooms that deal directly with patient care in health services. Objective: To determine the determinant factors of nurses in interpreting Electrocardiography (ECG) in critical patients in the ICU Room of Dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Hospital. Method: quantitative research method with the sample used is Stratified Random Sampling using data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. Results: The majority of nurses demonstrated a good understanding of EKG interpretation (66.7%), while a smaller proportion (33.3%) had a poor understanding of EKG interpretation. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between age, education, and length of employment with the nurses' level of knowledge in EKG interpretation. However, gender and EKG training were found to have a significant relationship with the nurses' level of knowledge in EKG interpretation.
