description: This study aimed to determine the response of growth and yield of Kailan (Brassica oleraceae var. alboglabra L.) to variations in drip irrigation scheduling and mulch use. This research was conducted in Metro Cilegon, Masigit Village, Jombang District, Cilegon City, Banten Province in October - December 2024. The experiment was designed using a split plot design with the main plot being the variation of drip irrigation scheduling (V) consisting of 3 levels, namely once a day (at 06.00 WIB) (V1), twice a day (at 06.00 WIB and 13.00 WIB) (V2), and three times a day (at 06.00 WIB, 13.00 WIB, and 17.00 WIB) (V3), and the subplot was the type of mulch (J) consisting of 3 levels, namely without mulch (J0), straw mulch (J1), and black silver plastic mulch (J2). The results showed that the treatment of mulch type had a significant effect at the age of 28 HST on the number of leaves, 35 HST and 40 HST on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter and fresh weight of plants at 40 HST. The results also showed that there was an interaction between the treatment of drip irrigation scheduling variations and the type of mulch on the number of leaves at the age of 28 HST. However, there was no effect given by both treatments on the parameters of leaf area and leaf color observed.
