This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a power factor correction device in reducing power dissipation in electrical loads while analyzing the cost efficiency of this power loss reduction method. Data was collected directly through measurements and tests of electrical parameters. The experimental results revealed an increase in the power factor of the TL lamp load from 0.35 (without a capacitor) to 0.81 after installing a 4 microfarad capacitor. This indicates that using the right capacitors can enhance the power factor of inductive loads. The analysis of the tool's effectiveness showed a value of 0.81 for a 20-watt TL lamp load, a considerable improvement from the initial value of 0.35.
