note: Latar belakang: Tuberkulosis (TBC) paru adalah penyakit kronis menular yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Rendahnya pengetahuan TBC paru pada remaja menjadi faktor penghambat keberhasilan pengendalian penyakit. Stimulus Organism Response (SOR) dengan Perjalanan Si Myco dapat menjadi upaya efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja dalam menurunkan angka kejadian TBC paru. Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas SOR terhadap pengetahuan TBC paru remaja di SMK Pasundan 2 Kota Serang. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif quasi experiment dengan pendekatan non equivalent control group. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan 62 responden menggunakan satu lembar observasi dan satu kuesioner pretest posttest. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks dan Mann Whitney U. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan signifikan tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah SOR pada kelompok eksperimen (p value 0,000). Terdapat perbedaan signifikan tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah SOR pada kelompok kontrol (p value 0,012). Terdapat perbedaan singnifikan rata-rata pengetahuan pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sebelum SOR (p value 0,000). Tidak terdapat perbedaan singnifikan rata-rata pengetahuan pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol setelah SOR (p value 0,117). Kesimpulan: Stimulus Organism Response (SOR) tidak efektif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan tuberkulosis paru remaja di SMK Pasundan 2 Kota Serang (p value 0,117).
abstract: Background: Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Low knowledge of pulmonary tuberculosis in adolescents is a factor inhibiting the success of disease control. Stimulus Organism Response (SOR) with Si Myco's Journey can be an effective effort to increase knowledge and awareness of adolescents in reducing the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of SOR on adolescent pulmonary tuberculosis knowledge at SMK Pasundan 2 Serang City. Methods: Quasi experiment quantitative research with non equivalent control group approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 62 respondents using one observation sheet and one pretest posttest questionnaire. Data analysis using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test and Mann Whitney U. Results: There is a significant difference in the level of knowledge before and after SOR in the experimental group (p value 0.000).
