description: Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an endocrine system disease caused by  a progressive and irreversible decline in kidney function so that the body fails to maintain  metabolism and fluid and electrolyte balance (Rahayu, 2018). Anxiety is a condition that  causes a person to feel uncomfortable, afraid, worried and restless accompanied by various  physical symptoms (Wulandari, 2024). Nursing actions for handling anxiety problems in  hemodialysis patients can be in the form of murottal Al-Qur'an therapy (Sulistyani, 2017).  This study aims to determine the effect of murottal Qur'an therapy on anxiety levels in  chronic kidney failure (CKD) patients undergoing hemodialysis at the dr. Adjidarmo  Rangkas Bitung Regional Hospital. Method: The research used was a quasi-experiment  using a one-group design, namely the treatment group. The sample used in this study was  34 respondents who were taken using the non-probability Purposive Sampling technique.  Results: The results of this study obtained that most respondents Pre-intervention of Qur'an  murottal therapy had a mild level of anxiety and Post-intervention of Qur'an murottal there  was a level of anxiety in the non-anxious category, there was a p value of 0.000 <0.05, which  means that there is an effect of Qur'an murottal therapy on the level of anxiety in CKD  patients undergoing hemodialysis. Conclusion: Qur'an murottal therapy can reduce the  level of anxiety in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis.
