        abstract = {Background: Patient safety is a very serious matter in the world of health this is 
because there are quite high cases of medical errors in hospitals. Overall, the 
patient safety program has been implemented, but the problems in the field refer 
to the concept of patient safety, because even though they have participated in 
socialization, there are still patient injuries, risk of falls, risk of wrong treatment, 
inaccurate delegation during patient care which results in patient safety being 
reduced maximum.Aim: This study aims to determine the relationship between the 
level of knowledge of nurses and the implementation of patient safety at RSUD Dr. 
Adji Darmo. Methods: This study uses a quantitative method with a cross
sectional research design, which uses the probability sampling method, namely 
cluster sampling as a sampling technique, with the number of respondents 
involved being 64 respondents. Result: The results of the study obtained p-value 
0.016 ({\ensuremath{\alpha}} {\ensuremath{<}} 0.05) which means there is a significant relationship between the level 
of knowledge and the implementation of patient safety at Dr. Adji Darmo Regional 
Hospital. Conclusion: Nurses knowledge in implementing patient safety is in the 
good category. The results of this study can be input for nurses to improve their 
knowledge about implementing patient safety and apply nursing knowledge in 
implementing patient safety.},
