ASAL RHIZOSFER RUMPUT GAJAH (Pennisetum purpureum) SEBAGAI AGEN HAYATI PENGENDALI LAYU FUSARIUM PADA PISANG (Musa parasidiaca) SECARA IN VITRO creator: Putri, Nabilah Ermansa subject: S Agriculture (General) subject: SB Plant culture description: This research aims to explore and determine the effect of Bacillus sp. from the rhizosphere of elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum) as a biological agent in controlling fusarium wilt in bananas (Musa parasidiaca) in vitro. The research was conducted at the Soil and Agroclimate Laboratory and the Laboratory of Basic Sciences and Plant Protection, Department of Agroecotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, from September to December 2024. This research used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 replications of 6 treatments of Bacillus sp. and 1 control treatment as a comparison. Obtained at seven days after incubation, the precentage of inhibition data that are transformed twice are as followed: BRG 1 (16,06%), BRG 2 (16,56%), BRG 3 (15,74%), BRG 4 (12,60%), BRG 5 (18,00%), and BRG 6 (16,01%). These results indicate that all isolates that have been tested have the potential as biological agents to control the pathogenic fungus Fusarium oxysporum f.sp cubense which causes fusarium wilt disease in banana plants. In the observation of colony morphology, all isolates showed an irregular shape, undulate margin, flat elevation and a milky white or cream color. In addition, the results of the 3% KOH test and gram staining showed that the Bacillus sp. bacterial isolate is a gram-positive bacteria and is shaped like a bacillus. The pathogenicity test showed there were 5 isolates that were non-pathogenic while the BRG 2 isolate was pathogenic. date: 2025 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49262/1/Nabilah%20Ermansa%20Putri_4442210116_Fulltext.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49262/2/Nabilah%20Ermansa%20Putri_4442210116_01.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49262/3/Nabilah%20Ermansa%20Putri_4442210116_02.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49262/4/Nabilah%20Ermansa%20Putri_4442210116_03.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49262/5/Nabilah%20Ermansa%20Putri_4442210116_04.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49262/6/Nabilah%20Ermansa%20Putri_4442210116_05.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49262/7/Nabilah%20Ermansa%20Putri_4442210116_Ref.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49262/8/Nabilah%20Ermansa%20Putri_4442210116_Lamp.pdf identifier: Putri, Nabilah Ermansa (2025) EKSPLORASI BACILLUS sp.
