            note = {Latar Belakang: Gagal Ginjal Kronik merupakan merupakan suatu kondisi di mana fungsi ginjal menurun secara progresif dan permanen. Penyakit ini seringkali berujung pada kebutuhan untuk menjalani terapi hemodialisis sebagai pengganti fungsi ginjal yang hilang. Bisa disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, termasuk penumpukan limbah dalam tubuh, ketidakseimbangan elektrolit, dan perubahan metabolisme kulit akibat terapi dialisis. Virgin coconut oil merupakan minyak kelapa asli yang terbuat dari daging kelapa murni yang diekstrak dengan cara yang terkendali atau tanpa pemanasan sama sekali, dan tanpa menggunakan bahan kimia, memiliki sifat anti-inflamasi, anti-oksidan, dan antibakteri. VCO telah digunakan sebagai pengobatan alternatif untuk berbagai kondisi kulit, termasuk pruritus. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh dari virgin coconut oil terhadap penurunan skala pruritus pada pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik (GGK) di Ruang Hemodialisis Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Provinsi Banten tahun 2025. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif, quasy experiment, pendekatan one group pre test ? post test.
Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menjadi dasar pengembangan terapi non farmakologis yang mudah diakses, efektif, dan aman dalam upaya pengelolaan gagal ginjal kronik.},

        abstract = {Background: Chronic Kidney Failure is a condition in which kidney function decreases progressively and permanently. This disease often results in the need to undergo hemodialysis therapy to replace lost kidney function. It can be caused by several factors, including waste buildup in the body, electrolyte imbalance, and changes in skin metabolism due to dialysis therapy. Virgin coconut oil is genuine coconut oil made from pure coconut meat which is extracted in a controlled manner or without heating at all, and without using chemicals, has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and antibacterial properties. VCO has been used as an alternative treatment for various skin conditions, including pruritus. Objective: To determine the effect of virgin coconut oil on reducing the scale of pruritus in Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) patients in the Hemodialysis Room at the Regional General Hospital of Banten Province in 2025. Method: Quantitative research, quasi experiment, one group pre test ? post test approach.
It is hoped that the results of this research will be the basis for developing non pharmacological therapy that is easily accessible, effective and safe in the management of chronic kidney failure.}
