description: Background: Beta Thalassemia Major is a genetic disease that causes disruption of  hemoglobin production. In Indonesia, the prevalence of this case is quite high,  especially in areas such as West Java, Central Java, and Banten. Objective: This study  aims to analyze factors related to the quality of life of children with Beta Thalassemia  Major at the Banten Provincial Hospital. Method: This study used a quantitative  research design with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 45 children was selected  using the total sampling technique, with data collection using the PedsQL 4.0  questionnaire and family support instruments. Results: There is a significant  relationship between family economic status and children's quality of life (p = 0.208;  OR = 0.2), meaning that children with parents earning the same or more than the UMR  have a 0.2 times higher chance of having a better quality of life. In addition, family  support is also significantly related (p = 0.208; OR = 0.6), indicating that children with  good family support are 0.6 times more likely to have a better quality of life.  Conclusion: This study shows that most children with Beta Thalassemia Major at  Banten Provincial Hospital have normal quality of life (73.3%). Only age factors are  significantly related to children's quality of life, while gender, parental education,  economic status, and family support are not significant.
