description: Background: Parental satisfaction of pediatric patients is a crucial indicator in evaluating the quality of nursing care, particularly care involving nurses' caring behavior. Caring behavior reflects empathy, responsibility, and effective communication between nurses, patients, and their families. Methods: This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design and a cross-sectional method. A total of 73 respondents, who were parents of pediatric inpatients at RSUD Provinsi Banten, participated in the study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) and a satisfaction questionnaire based on Nursalam’s theory. Data analysis employed the chi-square test. Results: The findings revealed that 58.9% of respondents rated nurses' caring behavior as poor, and 52.1% expressed dissatisfaction with the nursing services. The chi-square test showed a significant relationship between nurses’ caring behavior and parental satisfaction (p = 0.000). Respondents who perceived the nurses' caring behavior as good were 178 times more likely to feel satisfied compared to those who perceived it as poor (OR = 178.8; 95% CI: 20.3–1596.5). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between nurses' caring behavior and the satisfaction level of parents of pediatric patients. The better the caring behavior, the higher the satisfaction of the parents.
