Pendekatan non-farmakologis menjadi salah satu metode yang efektif dalam mengelola hipertensi. Tujuan: Menganalisis efektivitas kombinasi Slow Deep Breathing dan Isometric Handgrip Exercise terhadap penurunan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik pada pasien hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pagadungan. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif, quasy experiment, pendekatan one group pre test-post test. Intervensi dilakukan selama 15 hari berturut-turut. Hasil: Rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik sebelum intervensi adalah 159,03 mmHg menurun menjadi 150,62 mmHg setelah intervensi, dengan nilai p 0,000 {\ensuremath{<}} {\ensuremath{\alpha}} (0,05). Tekanan darah diastolik menunjukkan penurunan dari median 95,50 mmHg menjadi 90,00 mmHg, dengan nilai p 0,000 {\ensuremath{<}} {\ensuremath{\alpha}} (0,05). Penurunan rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik sebesar 8,41 mmHg dan diastolik sebesar 5,50 mmHg. Simpulan: Kombinasi Slow Deep Breathing dan Isometric Handgrip Exercise terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik pada pasien hipertensi.}, title = {Efektivitas Kombinasi Slow Deep Breathing dan Isometric Handgrip Exercise terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Pasien Hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pagadungan Tahun 2025}, author = {Suniati Suha}, year = {2025}, url = {https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/49204/}, keywords = {Hypertension, Slow Deep Breathing Exercise, Isometric Handgrip Exercise Hipertensi, Slow Deep Breathing Exercise, Isometric Handgrip Exercise}, abstract = {Background: Hypertension is a global health issue that often goes undetected in its early stages, posing a risk of severe complications. Non-pharmacological approaches have proven to be effective methods for managing hypertension. Objective: To analyze the effectiveness of combining Slow Deep Breathing Exercise and Isometric Handgrip Exercise in reducing systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients at Puskesmas Pagadungan. Methods: This research employed a quantitative quasi?experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test approach. The intervention was conducted consecutively for 15 days. Result: The average systolic blood pressure before the intervention was 159.03 mmHg, which decreased to 150.62 mmHg after the intervention, with a p-value of 0.000 {\ensuremath{<}} {\ensuremath{\alpha}} (0.05). Diastolic blood pressure showed a reduction from a median of 95.50 mmHg to 90.00 mmHg, with a p-value of 0.000 {\ensuremath{<}} {\ensuremath{\alpha}} (0.05). The average decrease in systolic blood pressure was 8.41 mmHg, and in diastolic blood pressure was 5.50 mmHg. Conclusion: The combination of Slow Deep Breathing and Isometric Handgrip Exercise has been proven effective in reducing both systolic and diastolic blood pressure in patients with hypertension.} }
