description: The purpose of this study was to determine the plankton community in the pond ecosystem of Domas Village, Serang Regency. This study was conducted from September to November 2024 using qualitative and quantitative methods.   Data processing includes calculating the abundance, dominance, diversity, and uniformity indices using Excel, as well as using SPSS to test normality, homogeneity, and compare variables. The study was conducted in milkfish and   shrimp ponds and obtained 18 types of plankton, 12 of which were included in the genus phytoplankton and 6 others were included in the genus zooplankton.   Calculations of the abundance, dominance, diversity, and uniformity indices were carried out for the results of morning and evening observations. In the morning, the milkfish pond obtained an abundance of 111,483.64 ind/ml, a diversity index of 1.61, a uniformity index of 0.66, a dominance of 0.31, and in the afternoon, the abundance of 65,602.78 ind/ml, a diversity index of 1.61, a uniformity index of 0.67, and a dominance of 0.31. In the morning, the shrimp pond obtained an abundance of 103,896.18 ind/ml, a diversity index of 2.13, a uniformity index of 0.90, a dominance of 0.16, and in the afternoon, the plankton abundance was 59,275.33 ind/ml, a diversity index of 2.08, a uniformity index of 0.92, and a dominance of 0.16. From the needs analysis conducted at SMAN 1 Pontang and SMAN 1 Tirtayasa, it shows that the results of this study can be recommended as a flipbook-based learning media.
